Ideal for new and re- carpeting projects, easily cut with scissors or a sharp utility knife. Apply glue to back of pad and surface applying the pad to. Stop pad 1/2 -3/4 short of all edges which will allow the carpet to have the proper surface to adhere to. Apply carpet to pad using the same gluing procedure. This is a closed cell product and is very important to use the proper glue and making sure the glue has flashed (gas off) before laying pad. The recommended glue is the Bird Song 454. This pad is 40" wide x 72" long
